You can choose the modules and even the number of columns to display on each admin page of your WordPress site. To do this, click the Screen Options tab in the upper right of the screen.
The Screen Options pane will slide down to reveal specific options for the page you are on. Select the checkboxes to display the related modules on the screen.
The available Screen Options differ from screen to screen. For example, the available options on the Dashboard screen differ from the ones on the Add New / Edit screens (below). Hint: By default, Excerpts, Discussion and other options boxes are not displayed on the Add New or Edit Post screen.
On post listings screens, the Screen Options will allow you to display more posts per screen or to hide columns that you don’t want to see. Tip: Hide the SEO columns added by the WordPress SEO plugin if they are squeezing out the other columns.
