How much does the WordPress ClickStart All-In-One package cost?
The All-In-One package is available at $399 when you purchase your domain name, web hosting and blog theme through our affiliate links. We will receive a commission through our affiliate partners which helps to offset the cost of this package.
On average, you should expect to spend the following in addition to the package fees:
Domain registration: $10 — $15 per year
Web hosting: $6 — $20 per month / $72 — $240 per year
Optional blog theme (design): $40 — $180 per theme
Additional costs may be incurred if you require further customizations, for example if you want to use this site as a business website in addition to a blog.
Who are the partner companies that you are affiliated with?
We recommend Bluehost and Site5 for web hosting, and Hover.com for domain registration. We use all of these services ourselves and are happy to endorse them.
What will we cover in our coaching and orientation call?
The call is meant for us to gauge your level of web knowledge, and to guide you through registering your domain and web hosting. Next we will find out the design elements that you want on your blog, and help you choose a blog theme. This way, your blog is completely customized for you.
The call is an important step because it ensures that we understand each other clearly and that we are on the same page. This also helps prevent delays caused by misunderstandings and crossed wires.
Will you be designing my blog for me?
Not quite. We will customize the look of your site with pre-designed blog themes instead. You have the option of choosing a free theme or purchasing a premium theme (approximately $50–100). Compared to the price of a custom website design (starting from $500), we think pre-designed blog themes are a much more affordable and practical option.
What is a blog theme?
A theme is a ‘skin’ that can change the look of your blog. However a theme can do more than change the visual style of a blog, and can also provide new features. For example, many portfolio style WordPress themes will add portfolio galleries and testimonials for your site.
